JOHN GUEST QUICK CONNECTORS
They are specially designed for water treatment, beverage dispensing and other purposes
applications related to the passage of food products.
Since they are made of highly resistant plastic material, John Guest fittings are also used for the passage of non-food liquids and in aggressive environments.
The ease of connection and disconnection without tools makes them advantageous for the
construction of systems in areas that are difficult to access.”
HOW TO MAKE A CONNECTION
To make a connection, simply push the tube into the fitting. The John Guest patented clip holds it securely without deforming it or restricting the flow.
1) Cut the tube and push it up to the stop. For metal tubes
remove any burrs and smooth them out to avoid damaging them
the O-Ring.
2) The tube is held in place by the tweezers, the stainless steel teeth
they clamp the tube. The “O” Ring in nitrile rubber guarantees the
perfect hold.
3) Disconnecting is just as easy. Push the tweezers towards the
fitting and remove the tube. To make it easier to remove the
tube, possibly first pushing it towards the fitting.
