The TDS solution for light commercial vehicles are air springs that are applied to the rear axle, interposing themselves between the axle and the frame with the aim of minimising vibrations caused by the impact of the end-of-stroke buffer, an inevitable phenomenon when the vehicle is close to the load limit.

When the vehicle is particularly stressed, or when the permanent load is almost always at the (upper) limits, the standard versions may not be sufficient.
Top Drive System therefore offers, on a wide variety of vehicles, reinforced versions that meet the needs of more demanding loads.
The solution involves an air spring of generally larger dimensions than the standard version provided for the corresponding vehicle version, in order to redistribute the load over a larger surface, always with a view to preserving the structural mechanical components of each vehicle.
