The acrylic hinged glass allows us to offer lighter windows than before, offering a larger ventilation opening and providing comfort (thanks to the double glazing) in terms of sound and thermal insulation. However, hinged windows must open when the vehicle stops and not while driving. It is now mandatory to stick a label near the driver’s seat recommending checking that the windows are closed before setting off. Finally, acrylic is fragile and at risk of scratching. Cleaning must only be done with appropriate products, applied with soft cloths or sponges. Use detergent 927791. Abrasive pads are, in any case, totally prohibited, as are solvents or detergents. The excellent insulation complies with the standards used in the housing sector. The safety locks prevent the window from being opened from the outside. The SEITZ double-glazed, sliding or hinged windows are mounted on polyurethane frames of the “integral S4” type. They are therefore reversible, with an internal frame that can accommodate a curtain and mosquito net. They can be mounted on walls from 26 to 53 mm.
