Installation is quick and easy: the energy-efficient compressor refrigerator fits perfectly into the space left by its predecessor. No vents, ventilation grilles or gas installations are needed. The conversion is advantageous in several respects. Firstly, the energy consumption is reduced to just 0.4 kW/24h, around 84% less than absorption models such as the RM5380. In addition, the new compressor refrigerator weighs 2.5 kg less and does not require a gas bottle.
